When sending surveys via SMS, it is important that the number you send to is correct and follows specific formats.
Sending SMS through Quicksearch
When sending through Quicksearch, you can send SMS to all countries, and therefore we use the format:
+1122233333 (For example: +46703707010) consisting of country code (1), area code (2), and number (3).
Quicksearch will also interpret some other common formats, meaning we also attempt to interpret based on the formats: 0703-707010, 0703707010, (0)703-707010, 46703707010, 0046703707010, 0703/707010. In these cases, we always interpret the sending as within the Swedish country code.
If the mobile number starts with a 0, the Swedish country code (+46) is used.
Otherwise, the international format is used. Thus:
0047703707010 translates to +47703707010
1-868703707010 translates to +1868703707010
Own provider
It is possible to use a custom provider for SMS delivery. If you send through your own provider, they may have additional requirements for the format. Check such requirements with the respective provider.
