Language in Surveys
It is possible to create surveys in about 50 different languages and send them either with a direct link to a specific language or allowing the recipient to choose the language they want to respond in by clicking on the language.
Order of languages and button size depends on the user's device
When a survey recipient chooses a language, we try to offer the best possible order to make it easy to respond for each individual recipient.
If the user's phone, tablet, or computer is set to a particular language, we may sometimes detect it and offer that language first in the order and with a larger language selection button. This is unique to each device the user is using. So, the language order is unique per recipient and customized based on what is assumed to fit best based on the information provided by the browser.
For example, if a user is using a computer set to Swedish and English, Swedish will be the language we believe the person is most likely to want to respond in. If the same person has a computer set to Spanish, we will present Spanish as the first option.
- 2 languages are suggested with large buttons based on the device the user is responding from.
- Other languages are displayed in a list with slightly smaller buttons to create an overview.
Example
Here is an example of how the system has noted that I am using a browser or computer set to Swedish and English, but the survey is also available in Danish, French, Dutch, Norwegian, and Finnish. A respondent with a browser set to Finnish or French would have these languages presented first instead.
Language Selection in Portals
Quicksearch's portals are available in all common Western European languages. Our recommendation is for the organization to choose one language, preferably the corporate language, to present a survey. The reason for this is own comments and help texts that may concern the specific survey and to avoid translation of such own material.
The portals are available in English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish.
Note that certain products are only available in certain languages.
Language Selection in Reports
Quicksearch creates reports in PDF and PowerPoint and can do this in any language. The reports are created from templates, and unique templates need to be translated into the respective languages, which may involve a cost. Note that for our products in INSIGHT and IMPACT, there are templates translated into certain languages.
Language Selection in AI Recommendations
Quicksearch provides AI recommendations to employees within the products in INSIGHT. These recommendations are adapted to Swedish laws, the Swedish work environment, and are therefore available in Swedish. Since labor laws and work environments vary from country to country, these are not directly translated into other languages.
Language Selection in Products INSIGHT and IMPACT
The products in IMPACT are fully translated into Swedish and English, with the ability to send out in multiple languages but with reporting and portals in Swedish or English. Translation into additional languages in reports and portals can be offered in dialogue with the client.
The products in INSIGHT are fully translated into Swedish and English, with the ability to send out in multiple languages but with reporting and portals in Swedish or English. Translation into additional languages in reports and portals can be offered in dialogue with the client. INSIGHT includes recommendations to employees, which are only available in Swedish, as well as recommendations to teams and managers, which are available in Swedish and English but can be offered in more languages.
Language Support in Administrative Interfaces
The administrative interfaces used to create surveys, integrate with other systems, and create reports and portals are available in English and Swedish.
