Quicksearch originally uses its own email servers to send out email surveys. This means that we can monitor the delivery security of the surveys and use techniques like DKIM, SPF, and DMARC to increase the likelihood of the email survey reaching its destination.
We also have the option to send emails via an email server provided by our client. In this case, we use the standard for email, SMTP, to send out the message. If you provide login details:
- IP address
- Port number
- Login
- Password
- Whether login should be encrypted or not
please provide them to your customer contact at Quicksearch. The email server settings are specific to each customer contract and will thus automatically apply to all your surveys.
When using your own email server, you must ensure that the email reaches the recipient. We recommend using SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and actively monitoring your mailing lists and external spam filters.
