The tool for sending out surveys in Dialog Manager is called Publications, and in this section, we will provide tips and explain concepts to help you get started with creating publications.
Sorting and categorizing publications
When you navigate to Publications, all your latest publications are automatically listed. You can also sort them by distribution type (email, SMS, web, code).
In the left menu, your Categories are listed, following the same folder structure as you have built for your dialogues. This means that the publications you create will be placed in the same folder as the dialogue.
Distribution type - What type of publication should I create?
Quicksearch's system supports collecting results in various ways, such as via email, SMS, by entering a personal code, or as a pop-up window on a website. We refer to these methods as distribution types. The choice of distribution type depends entirely on how and where you want to collect results for your survey, whether you have contact details for the respondents, and if so, what type of contact details you have.
If you have contact details for your respondents, the most common distribution types are email and SMS. Learn more about how you can Control ways to send out.
If you do not have contact details for your respondents, surveys in digital channels/web surveys are an alternative we recommend. Learn more about how to get started with digital channels.
Another option is to create QR codes with background data.
Sender name and sender's email address
The sender name for email and SMS publications is simply the name you want to appear for the recipient. For email publications, you also need to include the sender's email address.

Reminders
If you are using email or SMS distribution types, you can choose to send reminders to respondents who have not completed the dialogue (survey). If you have chosen to have reminders for the survey, they will be sent to all respondents who have not completed the dialogue.
