The organization tree is built based on a hierarchical structure where each level (department, institution, workgroup, etc.) has a small "folder icon" next to it (see image). Clicking on the folder icon expands the organization tree, revealing the sub-levels of the department. The number in parentheses after the name represents how many people are in each level (group/department) including its sub-departments.
By right-clicking on a department, 6 new options are displayed:
Create new department
Here you create a sub-level to the department you right-clicked on.
Rename department
Change the name of the department.
Delete department
Here you remove the selected department, remember to move the people first before deleting the group. If a department with people in it is deleted, the people will end up among unsorted people.
Add guide
If you want to add a new guide, Quicksearch needs to be contacted to assist with permissions.
Sign department
When you are finished with your changes, you should sign the group, indicating to the responsible party that this group has been reviewed and is ready for dispatch.
Deactivate department
By deactivating a department, you hide the department in Workbook.
